I²DAMO stands for Intelligent Integrated Data Analysis and Mathematical Optimization GmbH. We specialize in complex data analysis, data-driven modeling, simulation and mathematical optimization of complex processes.

Our key to success:

I²DAMO combines many years of experience from cooperation with universities and other research institutions. We not only come from science, but we also continue to maintain close contact with research and development institutes such as the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB), as well as to businesses ranging from SMEs to large industrial companies. Because we are always looking for new ideas and solutions that will ensure the success of our customers also in the future.

We focus on the practical feasibility of the latest developments, trends and future scenarios. Based on this we develop highly specialized industrial software solutions which we adapt individually to the complex systems of our partners. This special know-how has made us a sought-after consulting specialist and system optimizer for energy supply systems.

Our background:

2013 The research campus MODAL - Mathematical Optimization and Data Analysis Laboratories was founded as part of the funding initiative "Research Campus - Public-Private Partnership for Innovation" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)

2014 It quickly became apparent that for the transfer of successful prototypes into productive use within companies, an agile partner was needed, who would be taking care of the further development of customer-specific software solutions and the professional maintenance and application consulting.

2019 Parallel to the end of the first funding phase of the MODAL research campus, the company realigned for the future in order to continue its positive development. I²DAMO GmbH was created by renaming and changing the legal structure of its predecessor.

In 2020, the MODAL research campus received the funding decision for the second phase from 2020 to 2025. As a project partner, I²DAMO continues to participate in the MODAL research campus.

How we work
- the path to a highly specialized software solution

The path to a successful development and productive use of a highly specialized software solution from I²DAMO is a multi-stage process.

Step 1:

Based on complex data analysis, data-driven modeling and simulation, a demonstrator for decision-making is created which represents the most important functions of the future software.

Step 2:

Transfer of the demonstrator with data interfaces into industrially usable software and development of a prototype of the software solution.

Step 3:

Develop customer-specific software solutions for productive use in companies including operational consulting and professional maintenance of our software.
